John F. Kennedy (JFK) half dollar
- Originally issued by the United States Mint in 1964, immediately following JFK’s tragic assassination
- Design has remained the same since its introduction, with the exception of the 1975/1976 Bicentennial design
SP69 (Specimen State) Original High Relief
- Struck especially for collectors on highly buffed, burnished planchets (blanks) that yield a sharp strike with a mirror-like surface and softly frosted highlights, as opposed to the standard highlights of regular proofs
- A bolder looking strike that features a higher relief strike that mimics the original design prepared for the presidential medal
Encapsulated
- Helps protect coin’s condition during storage and display
